*All lectures to be presented will be subjected to review to determine its degree of difficulty. A rating system, using Grand Lodge references where applicable, has been developed to evaluate each lecture. The rating system carefully examines each lecture regarding complete coverage and explanation of topic, and sensitivity to Masonic customs.

Team Competition will be judged only on the Opening up to the Invitation to PM’s.  No requirement for an opening charge, no balloting, no purging, no reception of the GM as we have done in the past.

Team, Catechism and Charge judging will begin at 10AM.  All other categories will be judged starting at 1PM.

 

Lectures may be sent via regular mail, email or fax so that they are received NO LATER than Friday, August 6, 2010.

·         A lecture sent by mail must be typed and double spaced and include contestants name and Lodge. Send it to

·         A lecture sent by email must be in WORD format, double spaced and include contestants name and Lodge.  Send it to toclectures@yahoo.com

·         A faxed lecture should be typed and double spaced and include contestants name and Lodge.  First call 770-461-3433 and TALK with whoever answers to be sure fax is available.  Instructions will then be given on faxing procedure.

 

If you submit a self-addressed stamped envelope, your scoring sheets will be sent you after the competition.

 

Same day registration will be permitted.  Bring a minimum of 3 copies of your lecture, typed in double spaced format. Be sure that your name and Lodge are part of the first page.

Competition will be held at the Atlanta Masonic Center on Peachtree.  Food and drinks will be available during the afternoon.  Winners will be announced with award presentations beginning A.S.A.P. following the competition and winners may be asked to present again their lecture or team performance to the entire audience.
